We would like to introduce you to our Company. Newsound has been operating since 1974, and
we built the first Emergency Warning Intercommunication System in Australia. We are 100%
Australian Owned Company with no association with TYCO or CHUBB groups of companies.

Newsound is a major manufacturer of Emergency Warning
Intercommunication Systems (EWIS), which are SSL_listed and fully
compliant with AS 2220 Australian Standard. We also supply small
Building Occupant Warning Systems (BOWS) suitable for
compliance with the Building Code of Australia for occupant
warning. Newsound is a major distributor of Fire Alarm Equipment,
and can install and maintain both EWIS and Fire Alarm Systems to
your satisfaction. We also sell, install and maintain fire
extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire blankets, fire doors, emergency
and exit lighting, sprinkler and hydrant systems.

Newsound is ready to help you with maintenance, inspection and
testing of the essential fire services in your buildings on regular
basis according to Australian Standards and the Building Code of
Australia. We can also design and install new fire protection
equipment in your buildings. Alternatively we can upgrade existing
equipment to make it comply with current regulations. Please see

We provide our customers with Annual Fire Safety Statement on
Essential Services required by Councils.

We also conduct fire audits, site surveys and supply reports of
existing essential services for testing and maintenance proposals.
